I am an ember in the darknessIn my eyes, some people, when the lights go out, don't change. In fact, most people are of that sort. The world around them changes, but they do not. They simply stumble about in their blindness until something around them becomes familliar again. But there are some people who are different. Some people glow red. When I close my eyes, they're still there. I always see those little red spots surrounded by darkness. They fade, of course. Some quicker than others. Some barely at all. There aren't many. My HouseWhere was it? It had to be somewhere in that room. I looked over and saw Wendy sleeping on her side. Her chest expanding and retracting as the first rays of daylight began to brighten the window above her. Where would she have put it?
